That’s the concept behind the vision we created for a setup that empowers iPad to become the center of your digital creative experiences. A fabric wrapped, USB-C dock as the center of the experience with tablet specific features to go from tablet to “computer” mode. Included with ports to connect different peripherals.
It Starts With a Dock, But It’s So Much More.
The Pro Dock concept takes advantage of the USB-C port on iPad and adds additional I/O to expand use to external monitors, printers, photography peripherals etc. A built-in adjustable kickstand creates a work style that enhances sketching and iPad mode and make easy to turn into a second screen when plugged into a monitor. iOS16 introduced Stage Manager which makes it easy to use iPad with an external monitor, mouse and keyboard much like a traditional laptop.

As iOS continues to evolve and create new opportunities for creation on iPad, many users have made it their primary device. It became obvious that a solution was needed for having a “workstation” setup that would be iPad friendly. Whether it’s for studying, school from home, sketching or even excel, the way people use their iPads continues to shift into an all day, every task device.

ZAGG has been making tablet keyboard cases for years and the Pro Dock works seamlessly with the existing cases to make it easy to transition from portable mode to docked mode. Even the keyboard can continue to be used so that an user doesn’t have to buy a second keyboard to use it.
